Amanda Phannadeth is an independently contracted, Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Forward Family Therapy.

Amanda earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2018, followed by her Master of Social Work in 2019. She has been practicing in a clinical role since 2022 and has worked in the mental health and social justice fields since 2016. Throughout her career, Amanda worked with a wide range of populations, including adolescents and teens in residential treatment, adults experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, victims of crime, and, most recently, children and families impacted by significant trauma in community mental health. She has received training in NeuroSequential Model of Therapeutics and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) which are two trauma-focused frameworks that address the impact of trauma on child development. While Amanda specializes in working with children, adolescents, and teens who have experienced significant trauma, she also supports adults seeking to build more secure relationships with themselves and others.

Amanda values collaboration in the therapeutic space and integrates a range of trauma-informed, relational, and evidence-based modalities to support her clients. Known for her warm, compassionate, and culturally sensitive approach, she strives to create a sense of "felt safety" in her work. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Experiential Therapy, and Play Therapy, along with other approaches tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
